US oil imports rise as storage gets a boost.

US crude imports topped 8 million barrels per day (mbpd) last week for only the second time this year, spurring an unexpected rise in stockpiles and sending US oil prices down to a fresh post-crisis low.
The US imported 56.3 million barrels of crude in the week ending August 14, up from 53.0 million barrels the week before, according to the US Energy Information Administration.
